INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE  and Events  Saturday, July 2, 2016
What a great day for a parade!  Over 700 root beer floats were served.  The scavenger hunt was a big hit with more than 50 participants.  The Crow Wing Soil and Water District Technician, Darren Mayer, with help from Jacob Frie, Crow Wing County Land Services Natural Resource Manager, provided well received information on forest management.  A big thank you to Lake Country Crafts and Cones for donating a tub of ice cream, Reed's Market for chilling the root beer and Grandpa's General Store for donating the ice!
